Ability for landlord to edit tenant's contact information

I'm having errors that pop-up when updating tenant information. It seems to not recognize that when adding information that is missing. IE Adding an email or phone number, the system gets caught up on tenant details that are already entered.
For example: Tenant has a phone number already entered, I am adding their email. It will say (no matter what I do) that their phone number is already associated with an account and vice versa.

Danni are you still working on this one?

Continue marketing the leasing property until landlord/manager removes it or until deadline. Please, don't stop marketing the property once a lease is submitted. The tenant and/or landlord may change their minds prior to any transactions and potential move ins.

correcting a tenant's name without having to delete them

Unbelievable! How basic is being able to correct a tenant's misspelled name? According to TT and I quote: "To correct a misspelled tenant name, you'll need to remove the tenant from the lease and add them back with the correct spelling.
Here's how:
Go to your lease agreement
Remove the tenant with the misspelled name
Add them back with the correct spelling
This ensures the correct information displays on the lease
If the updated information isn't showing, clear your browser's cache and cookies, then review the lease again - the corrected name should display properly.
For signed lease agreements with name corrections, you can also create a lease addendum to document the change.

Several things for this: One, Tenants often have alternate phone number or email we MUST save. Please allow this. ALSO, if a tenant updates their info, PLEASE make it so we MUST "approve" the change / see the update or have the option to somehow save the old information in notes. If a tenant maliciously alters or deletes their information we should still have access to the original information, EVEN if only in notes, AND we should have a DATE/TIME stamp and a place to note why the change was made.

I agree with Alex H, I have had to contact TT several times due to this very same issue.

Also, sometimes tenants may have an alternative phone number. We need to be able to save that too.

I just had a couple apply using his name and her email address, now I've prepared the lease and can't change the email address for him to sign

In fact I can't even add her because her email address is already being used
