Thank you everyone for the feature request and input! You can now return security deposits directly in TurboTenant.
The full return process is supported: add deductions, attach receipts or notes, send funds electronically, and get a confirmation once the payment is sent.
This means you no longer need to handle deposit returns offline or track them separately. Everything is recorded in one place.

Should have a reminder 25 days post-lease expiration (or ability to select number of days) where landlord receives a reminder to return the security deposit. Also have a link to the page that allows landlord to return the deposit via TurboTenant ACH, back to the same ACH the tenant has used, and tracking it on their tenant/lease page.

Hey, Allison Lindsay & Rob R thanks for the feature request! Absolutely understand the use of this! Unfortunately, this isn't something we'll be able to tackle anytime soon. The main reason being there are a handful of states that have specific processes and/or requirements around returning security deposits, most of which require them to be returned offline. Of course, if things change we'll be able to re-consider this as an option!
